Australian shares traded higher at midday, with the S&P/ASX 200 up 24.4 points, or 0.27 per cent, to 9,062.6 at 12.25pm AEST. Technology led the market after strong results from Nvidia and Salesforce boosted Wall Street, lifting WiseTech Global, Xero and NextDC.

Financials also gained, with all four major banks trading higher. The ASX 200 remains on track for a small weekly gain, despite stronger-than-expected inflation earlier in the week increasing expectations for further Reserve Bank rate rises.

Senetas lifts revenue and strengthens cash position
Senetas Corporation (ASX:SEN) reported FY26 revenue of $20.2 million, up 4.7 per cent on the previous year and 9.3 per cent on a constant currency basis. Product sales increased 22 per cent, supported by growth in the Middle East and Australia and New Zealand, as well as the company’s first sales into South America. Gross margins remained strong at 82 per cent. Senetas is also increasing investment in its new enterprise AI governance platform. For full announcement click here.
ReNerve delivers record FY26 sales growth
ReNerve (ASX:RNV) has reported an 88 per cent increase in FY26 sales revenue to $510,000, with June quarter sales reaching a company record of $211,000. Growth was driven mainly by increased use of its NervAlign Nerve Cuff in the US and the launch of its Empliq tissue products. The company also expanded its US distribution network to 21 partners and secured new regulatory approvals across several Asian markets. ReNerve enters FY27 focused on growing NervAlign sales, expanding into newly approved markets and progressing its next generation nerve repair products
ADX Energy reports stronger gas flows from HOCH-1
ADX Energy (ASX:ADX) has reported positive results from the latest production testing at its HOCH-1 shallow gas well in Upper Austria. Three additional zones confirmed water-free gas flows, while combined production from four zones averaged 3.15 million cubic feet of gas per day, equivalent to 548 barrels of oil equivalent per day, over a 12-hour period. The well has now been shut in to measure pressure build-up and help determine reserves. ADX plans to test at least two deeper zones during the second phase of the program, with results to date supporting the potential commerciality of the well.
Castle Minerals raises $4m to advance Nielle gold project
Castle Minerals (ASX:CDT) has secured $4 million through a share placement to advance its flagship Nielle Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. The placement was priced at 7.5 cents per share, a 4.7 per cent premium to the 15-day volume-weighted average price, and will leave the company with around $5 million in gross cash before costs. Castle plans to use the funds for the Nielle acquisition and initial exploration and drilling, as well as work across its Meekatharra gold portfolio in Western Australia. The company is reviewing more than US$3 million worth of historical exploration data at Nielle as it works to define priority drill targets.
OpenLearning delivers record SaaS revenue growth
OpenLearning (ASX:OLL) has reported a strong first-half result, with revenue rising 42.8 per cent to $1.99 million and gross profit increasing 64 per cent to $1.25 million. Platform SaaS annual recurring revenue reached a record $3.27 million, marking the company’s 18th consecutive quarter of SaaS revenue growth. Gross margin increased to a record 63 per cent, while the EBITDA loss improved 27.1 per cent to $1.22 million. OpenLearning said growth was supported by larger institutional contracts and expansion across markets including the Philippines and Malaysia.
Patrys secures approval to begin Phase 1A trial
Patrys (ASX:PAB) has received Human Research Ethics Committee approval to begin its Phase 1A clinical trial of RLS-2202 in healthy volunteers. The study will assess the treatment’s safety, how well it is tolerated and how it moves through the body, with first participant dosing expected this quarter. The company will now move ahead with the remaining trial preparations, including regulatory notification, site activation, participant screening and enrolment. Data from the study will help determine dose levels and support the design of future clinical trials.
